Ministry Activities

Ministry activities of Cactus-3 are evolving, under the directions of the Holy Spirit, and our joy has been to listen, and trust him as we seek to obey His commandments, especially with the value set of redeeming the time in these evil days.

Ministry activities fall into these various categories

1. Evangelistic Outreaches-Ministry of the Word, Film Shows, Testimonies/Feedback.

2. Regular (Monthly) Bible Studies in Correctional Institutions.
Along 2 Pillars:
1. Freedom in Christ and
2. The Way of Wisdom

3. Group Counselling Seminars on various pressing issues of life for the Youth---Small- sized seminars and in depth Discussion Sessions on fixed topics especially of life and developmental issues

4. Life-Coaching seminars for Youth.
Along 2 Pillars:
1. Freedom in Christ and
2. The Way of Wisdom

5. Donations of Personal Items, Toiletries, Food and Medicines--particularly to the Correctional Institutions

6. Maintenance of a youth-based Cactus- 3 platform, through which burning questions are answered, Feedback obtained, nuggets of Resources are posted, Information on Cactus 3 events are announced and Mission-specific Interactions are encouraged

7. Donations of Libraries to chosen locations—Library Cupboards stocked with carefully chosen Location-specific books, as well as Administrative Journals-Inventory and Feedback Forms)

8. Liaison with like minded ministries-participation programmes, support for attendance (funds and logistics), word ministry

9. A Cactus-3 physical library (situated on Pipeline Road, Tanke, Ilorin). The library is equipped with books that can be borrowed (with standard library procedures), or read on-site

10. Supporting the production of Christian books through editorial services

11. Facilitation of recovery from stress and burnouts for identified brethren

12. Website/Newsletters/ Handbills--to enhance the work of the Ministry

13. Partnerships—Weekly Prayer meetings, Team Activities, Spiritual Retreats/Programme Capacity Building. Maintains an active WHAT'SAPP platform for Communication, Planning and Reporting

14. Volunteers assist in the organization of activities as well as routine and ad-hoc duties for the Foundation

15. Governance of the Foundation, through the Board of Directors—Regular Quarterly meetings for Strategic Planning, Monitoring of Plans and Activities, Partnership and Programme Evaluation. Maintenance of a WHAT'SAPP Platform for continuous discussions and decision-making

Cactus-3 Foundation is a Faith-based Foundation, with a vision to advance God's kingdom through Evangelism and Discipleship. We are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), (Registration Number --RC 169336). The headquarters of the Foundation is in IIorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
